Olivia grew up in Germany and went to boarding school in Switzerland when she was just 9 years old. There she realized that books were her escape and often best friend. That love for books and storytelling followed her from a tiny village in Switzerland to London, Florence, Milan, Brussels, Santa Fe, Los Angeles, and New York City—all places where she lived for some time.
Before writing novels, Olivia wrote feature and TV scripts (and even went to film school). She loves subjects that evoke emotions in the reader and complex storylines. But be assured, all her stories include a little love.
When she’s not writing at one of her favorite coffee shops, Olivia loves to travel (especially to Paris), long walks, food, and photography.
She lives in Brooklyn and Santa Fe, but that might change at any moment.
